Golf In Hawaii: Mauna Lani North Course by Francis H. I’i Brown

Hawaii is famous for many things, one of them being it’s amazing golf courses.

Last year, I had the chance to play the Mauna Lani North Course by Francis H. I’i Brown, on the Big Island. I must admit, it’s one of the most beautiful courses I’ve played in my entire life. The one that topped it was probably the South Course (more on that in a later post).

Okay, fine. I haven’t played a ton of golf courses in my life, but I will let you be the judge by seeing the pictures.

If you like golf and make your way to the Big Island one day, I highly recommend trying out the Mauna Lani Golf Courses.

We initially played the South Course in the morning, and were told that if we played another round right after, it was 1/2 price. We figured that, given the regular price of 225 $, it was a good deal since we planned on trying the second course anyways.

36 holes in one day is a lot, but the scenery (and the golf cart) made it all easier.

Our first shot, my dad and I, on a par 3. Mine is the closest. I did one putt. My dad did 3! Oops!
